Manischewitz, a manufacturer of kosher products, recently announced the debut of dozens of new product offerings, including cake mixes, macaroons, confections, matzo, pasta, gefilte fish, and many more! Â Their new product line includes products that are delicious comfort foods, as well as products that possess the healthier attributes of being all-natural, an excellent source of fiber, low sodium, no MSG, sulfite-free, and no artificial preservatives or ingredients.
I recently received several great products to try out from Manischewitz, and wow, were they ever awesome!  Here’s what I received and my thoughts on each product:
1. Mediterranean Matzos, Flavored with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Onion, Garlic, and Herbs

This was my first time ever trying Matzos. Â I am a huge cracker fan, and these left me quite impressed. Â They are a very large, square-shaped cracker, that is very thin and light and will break apart very easily. Â I really enjoyed the texture of them, which is very different from that of other crackers I have had. Â I would say the closest thing to compare these to are saltine crackers, but they are still very different. Â They have a very plain and simple taste to them like saltines do, but the texture is different. Â These matzos were flavored with extra virgin olive oil, onion, garlic and herbs and the flavor was very faint, definitely not overpowering. Â
These crackers tasted good by themselves, but I added a little bit of cream cheese to them, and wow, did it ever enhance the flavor of these!  These crackers are perfect for a snack or could be dressed up a bit to serve as an appetizer at a party.  Manischewitz also has some recipes on their site that these matzos can be used in.  These come in a variety of other flavors, including Organic, Seder, Thin Unsalted, Whole Wheat, Thin Salted, Egg & Onion, Everything, Yolk Free Egg, Thin Tea, and even White Chocolate Covered Egg (available for Passover only), and Dark and Milk Chocolate!
2. Manischewitz Reduced Sodium Chicken Broth

Whenever I make stuffing (I use Stove Top Stuffing Mix), I like to use chicken broth in place of the water.  I feel that it really gives the stuffing a lot of extra flavor, and keeps it from drying out.  I recently used Manischewitz’s reduced-sodium chicken broth when mixing up my stuffing, and it tasted delicious!  My stuffing was really moist and full of chicken flavor.  I love that the chicken broth was reduced sodium because there is already quite a bit of sodium in the stuffing mix itself. Chicken broth is such a useful ingredient to have on hand.  You can add it to many different dishes in place of water to add a new depth of flavor, and it makes a really great soup starter.  I’ll definitely be keeping this product in my pantry at all times!
3. Roasted Cashew Crunch Guiltless Gourmet Crunches
If you’re looking for a great sweet and salty snack, look no further than Guiltless Gourmet Crunches.  These are debuting for the first time during Passover.  They are all-natural and packaged in a resealable pouch.  They come in three flavors; Toasted Almond Crunch, Roasted Cashew Crunch, and Berries & Cherries Nut Crunch.  I absolutely loved the Roasted Cashew variety of this delicious snack.  These bite-sized crunches were a perfect balance of salty and sweet, and they had just the right amount of crunch to them.  They were so good in fact, that my boyfriend and I polished off the whole bag in just 2 days!  I can’t wait to try the other two varieties!
4. Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake Mix

I’m constantly hearing about people who are allergic to gluten, and this cake would be an excellent cake substitute for them. The cake comes with its own baking pan, and fudge frosting mix, and serves 6 people. This cake was super simple to mix up, and it was absolutely delicious! It was very soft and moist and full of great chocolate flavor! Manischewitz also carries several other varieties of cake mixes, including carrot, coffee, yellow, marble, honey, sponge, brownie, angel food, red velvet and apple crumb. They also carry a few different extra moist cake mixes. I can’t wait to try some of these other flavors!
5. Chocolate Chip Macaroons

I saved my absolute favorite Manischewitz product for last, the Chocolate Chip Macaroons!  Oh. my. gosh.  These delicious little macaroons are seriously one of the best sweet snacks I have ever tasted in my life.  They are so soft and moist and bursting with the flavor of coconut and chocolate chips.  They are very addictive because they are just so tasty!  My boyfriend and I nearly finished off the entire tin in one sitting, we couldn’t stop eating them.  We did save a few though (and ate them the next day)!  These macaroons also come in several different flavors, and you better believe I will be trying them all!  Other flavors include rocky road, coconut, almond, honey nut, chocolate, cappuccino, chocolate nut brownie, cookies n’ cream, banana split, toffee crunch, chocolate almond, chocolate chunk cherry, chocolate mint, and coconut sugar-free.  Are you drooling yet??  I certainly am!
I was extremely impressed with every single one of the Manischewitz products I tried.  It is very easy to see that they are made from high-quality ingredients, and they all taste amazing!  If you’re looking for kosher products to celebrate Passover, or even just for an everyday meal or snack, check out all of the products Manischewitz has to offer!  I have only touched on a few of their products, they have many more to choose from!
Disclosure: Â I received free products from Manischewitz in exchange for my honest review and opinion.
